Blogging: Your Online Platform to Reach Out to Others
One of the best things that happened on the internet is the introduction of blogging as a form for people to reach out to others regardless of the kind of life they lead. There are dozens of blogging sites out there and the best blogging platform can give these bloggers their space on the internet to talk about the things they are passionate about.
It has always been a pitfall for those who are just starting out to think that audience is always the end in mind when blogging. This is true, but only up to a certain degree as blogging is more than just the number of visitors that you see on your counter. It is exhilarating to open the dashboard and see that someone has left a comment or that the visitor counter continues to go up. But sometimes, there are just those days that we feel that our efforts to entertain is not yielding the results we want to see.
Sometimes, despite our best efforts to fill our pages with fresh contents, there will be days that visitors won’t come and that the comments section will dry up. This has always been a horror to the eyes of most bloggers, however, if we take the time to digest everything, we can learn something from it. We get to realize that blogging as an art is more than just the number of views we get daily. It an art that gives us voice to speak to the world whether someone is listening or not.
Blogging should be entertaining and this is not something that should stress us out because we no longer get the visitors we want. At times, we can always take inspiration from the kids when we talk about our blogging.
Kids draw inspiration from the things around them. One day they can be so into a hobby or a sport and then they wake up and suddenly they lost interest with whatever it is that they were interested in yesterday. And so they move on to another activity. Ideally, this is how we should all be seeing blogging.
This doesn’t translate to us completely taking for granted our followers or that we should simply forget about writing. Rather, this is to say that we shouldn’t consider writing as a chore but more of a passion to share our stories to the world. Blogging should become our platform to share a piece of our life story to the world without having to mind the stats counter or our dashboards.
When we have the best layout from the best blogging platform, we can easily create pages that are appealing to our readers. However, it is our passion to write and to share to the world our stories, without feeling obligated to push the stats counter, that we can truly feel the essence of blogging.
